Anna Agnes Skrzelowski (Glasnovich), of Newport, Kentucky, passed after a valiant battle with cancer on July 5,2019. Anna was born March 31, 1943, in Galesburg, IL, the youngest daughter of 14 children. She married David Stanley Skrzelowski in 1965.
Together they raised two children.Anna leaves as her legacy children: Monica Skrzelowski (Tony Koziol), Michael Skrzelowski (Rachel Roberts). Her children remember her as a wonderful mother and friend, an animal lover with great style and a generous heart.
She is preceded in death by her parents Jako and Elizabeth Glasnovich, siblings Cecilia, Joseph, Mary, Billy and Mike and her beloved husband, David.Anna was a dedicated homemaker who went on to work in retail helping to open several of Greater Cincinnati’s favorite boutiques and finally retiring from Macy’s in 2012. Her close-knit family, her siblings and her children were her greatest joys.
Her Catholic faith, her dedication to family, and her love of holiday traditions were among her defining characteristics.
