In November of 1938 she met William Liston “Cuz” Ross at a dance at the Adolphus Hotel (where they would later celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with their family). They married three months later when they eloped to Oklahoma. Ann and Cuz raised their three daughters in their close-knit neighborhood in the Walnut Hill area of Dallas where they lived until Cuz died in 2005. Shortlyafter, Ann moved to the Hill Country to live near one of her daughters.
