Ann Ruth Leidhecker, 68, of 2313 West Fourth Street, died Sunday, July 17, 2011, at her home with her family at her side, following a lengthy illness.

Ann and her husband, Donald Eugene Leidhecker, observed their 49th anniversary on January 20.

Ann was a Licensed Practical Nurse, who gave a lot of private duty care to many people. She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, the Lycoming Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Treaty Elm Chapter of the Colonial Dames and the Order of the Eastern Star. She made lineage quilts, enjoyed genealogical research and crocheting and was a former Girl Scout Leader.

Born June 20, 1943 in South Williamsport, she was the daughter of William Floyd King and Mae Ada Tiebohl Guinter.

Surviving besides her husband and her mother of Montoursville, are daughters, Ruth Arlene (Robert Eugene, Jr.) Spencer of Liberty and Vicki Ann (Anthony) Bruno of Cumming, GA; brothers, William C. (Barbara) Guinter of Williamsport and Jeffrey (Vickie) Guinter of Muncy; grandchildren, Rebecca Ada Mae (Adam Joseph) Yungwirth, Rachael Mary Ann Spencer, Anthony Donald Bruno and Isabella Mae Bruno; and great grandchildren, Austin Joseph and Adalyne Mae Yungwirth.
