Ann P. Corkery, age 57, long time resident of Milford, passed away unexpectedly at Bridgeport Hospital on March 2, 2011 after a brief illness. Born on August 29, 1953 in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of the late William C. and Julia Bergin Corkery. Ann graduated from St. Louis University with a BA in Nursing, and a MBA at the University of New Haven. She continued her education completing a Masters in Nursing at Sacred Heart in Fairfield as an APRN. Ann worked for Cardiac Specialists of Fairfield for the past nine years. Her favorite passion was traveling with her family and she was known for her great and infectious sense of humor. Ann will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her sister, Mary Corkery, and brothers Richard Corkery and Peter Corkery and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother William C. Corkery, Jr.
