Ann Ockulacki-Auger, age 98, of Fairfield beloved wife of the late John Ockulacki and the late Wallace Auger, passed away peacefully Friday, October 20, 2017 at Masonicare at Newtown. Born in Waterbury, the daughter of the late Paul and Anastasia Kusik, she was raised in New York City and had been a long-time Fairfield resident. She was a graduate of Julia Richman High School in New York. Her first job was working for Simon & Schuster Publishing and later worked for over 20 years as a secretary in the Central Office of the Fairfield Public School System. Ann was an active woman her entire life who enjoyed life to the fullest. She was the President of the Fairfield Striders senior walking group and President of the Fairfield Secretaries Association. She was a world traveler and always looked forward to her trips to foreign lands. Very artistic, she loved drawing, crochet and reading, and was incredibly proud of her Ukrainian heritage. Ann was always one to engage in lively conversation and looked forward to time spent with her family and friends. A woman of deep faith, she loved attending Mass at St.
