Ann Martino, 97, of Lavallette, NJ died on Saturday January 20, 2018 at her home. Ann was born in Capo d’Orlando, Italy. She worked at hand sewing, first of bridal veils, then hand beading gowns for various factories, including the dress Pat Nixon wore at the Presidential Inauguration.
She was a parishioner of St. Pio of Pietrelcina in Lavallette, NJ and a member of the Catholic Daughters. Ann was a supporter of the Lavallette First Aid Squad. Ann is predeceased by her parents Salvatore and Maria Russo and her husband Michael Martino. Surviving are her children Dr. Janet Martino of Nyack, NY and Michael Martino of Henderson, NV, her grandson Micah Martino and great grandson Dylan of Cortlandt Manor, NY and her sister, Theresa San Antonio of Toms River, NJ.
