Ann Marie “Nancy” Travers, 83, of Lavallette, NJ, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick, NJ. Born in New York City, she was a longtime resident of Orange County, NY before moving to Lavallette 17 years ago.
Nancy was a clerk for the Orange County Department of Social Services for many years. She was a parishioner of the Parish of St. Pio and was a member of the church’s Rosary Altar Society and the Catholic Daughters. Nancy was predeceased by her husband, Mark Travers, in 2010. She is survived by her two sons Mark Travers and his wife Brenda of Chocowinity, NC and Gerard Travers and his wife Jessica of Brooklyn, NY, and five grandchildren Michelle, Matthew, Tara, Ryan and Emma.
