Ann Marie Junkman was born on February 7, 1937, near Manson, the daughter of Walter and Mary (Gerdes) Junkman. After receiving her education in the Manson Schools, she was united in marriage with Garry Leroy Pierson on July 2, 1953, in Des Moines, Iowa. She spent her life making a home for Garry and their four children.
Ann is survived by her daughters Deborah (David) Hallas of Badger, IA, and Donna Ulrich of Battleground, WA; and sons Dean Pierson of Lake View, IA, and Dale (Jo) Pierson of Manson, IA; as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Garry; her parents; and sister Lorraine Sullivan.
