Ann M. Brantley (1920-2012)

  Ann Marie Brantley, 91, surrounded by family went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 14, following a sudden illness. She was born to John and Augusta Cabral on July 25, 1920 in Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii and has lived in Fort Walton Beach, Florida since 1949.

  Ann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who possessed a very generous spirit and an exceedingly kind heart. Her most joyful moments were when she was surrounded by her large extended family on special occasions. Ann was deeply loved and admired by all those who knew her, and will be greatly missed.

  She is survived by her seven children and their families, as well as a large extended family. She is survived by son Robert Brantley, son George (Shelley) Brantley, son Walter (Linda) Brantley, son Patrick (Elaine) Brantley, daughter Karen (Jim) Dunkle, son Richard (Rhonda) Brantley, and daughter Linda (Bob) Carpenter. She is survived by grandchildren James (Stacey) Brantley, Corina (Barry) Bizzell, Eric (Laura) Brantley, Karen (Phil) Hughes, Nathan (Milla) Brantley, Matthew Brantley, Christopher Dunkle, Rebekah (Kevin) Cox, Shannon (Mike) Leicht, Laura (Charles) Townsend, Stefanie (Jake) Meyer, and Ryan Carpenter. She is survived by great-grandchildren Isabel Bizzell, Austin Brantley, Kyra Hughes, Adriel, Aaliyah, and Relena Brantley, Natalie and Hannah Cox, Alan, Jacob, and Ethan Leicht, Kaena and Brianna Townsend. She is survived by one brother, Steve Cabral and well as numerous nieces, nephews, and their families.

  Ann was preceded in her death by her parents, her loving husband of 54 years Herman, sister Rosalie Ratcliff and sister Natalie Cabral.
