Ann Marie Altavilla (nee Liott) of Burlington Twp., died peacefully in her home September 14, 2017 at the age of 100. Born in Milnesville, PA, Ann was a resident of Burlington Twp., since 1965. She was an excellent cook and homemaker, whose main focus was her family and friends. She loved to be around people and entertaining. She was the life of the party and everyone loved to hear her laugh.

She especially loved attending family events. She also loved fashion; she took pride in her appearance and enjoyed looking glamorous. She will be remembered by all who knew her for her friendly and outgoing personality and particularly for her generous and giving nature. Ann was a very active person, enjoying aerobic dancing until she was in her early 90’s. She celebrated her 100th birthday in July and attended a family reunion that allowed her to visit with many of her beloved family members. She was a longtime parishioner of the St. Katharine Drexel Parish in Burlington, attending mass first at St. Paul Church, then later at All Saints Church. She recently received a special presentation from His Holiness Pope Francis in commemoration of achieving her 100th birthday and her life of faith.

Daughter of the late Anthony L. and Maria Giovanna (nee Renzi) Liott, and wife of the late Peter A. Altavilla, Sr., Ann was also predeceased by her siblings; Rose Liott Petruzzi, James Liott, Kathryn Liott Eichorn, Phillip Liott, Grace Liott Michelin, Dominick Liott, Anthony Liott, Jr., and Rocco Liott. She is survived by her sons and daughters in law; Thomas J. and Annette Cosme Altavilla, Peter A. and Barbara J. Dubov Altavilla, grandson; Peter A. Altavilla, III, siblings; Louise Liott Gillen and Maryjane Liott Klingberg as well as many nieces and nephews.
