Ann M. O’Connell, age 87, of Milford, beloved wife of the late John E. O’Connell, entered eternal rest on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born on July 24, 1930 in Bridgeport and was the daughter of the late Martin and Anna K. (Arsenault) O’Donnell. Mrs. O’Connell worked at in factory for many years before fulfilling her passion for caring for others as a nurse’s aide at Milford Hospital and Golden Hill Health Care Center.
Mrs. O’Connell is survived by her devoted children, Kathleen O’Connell of Milford and Kerry Ross and her husband, James of Sandusky, Ohio and Kevin O’Connell, Sr. of Stratford, her brother, Robert Arsenault and his wife Gail of Florida, her grandchildren known to them as “Nanny,” Ann Marie McKernan and her husband Chris, Timothy Ross and Tyler Ross, Kevin O’Connell, Jr. and Zachary O’Connell. She also leaves great grandchildren, Aiden & Aislyn, Sadie and Benny, Noah & Jackson, Ashley & Collin, a great-great granddaughter, Deanna and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her grandchildren, Tracey Chaves & Ryan O’Connell and brothers, Anthony Arsenault, Sr. and Raymond Arsenault.
