Ann Cirullo, 58, of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away on November 9, 2015 at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Fort Wayne, IN.
Ann was born on January 19, 1957, in Huntington County, IN to Joseph and Glenna (Fahrnow) Harrison. Her mother preceded her in death. Her father survives and resides in Huntington, IN. Ann married Daniel Cirullo on April 29, 1989. He survives and resides in Fort Wayne, IN.

Ann was a 1975 Huntington Catholic Graduate; in her 8th grade year she won the right to compete in the National Spelling Bee in Washington D.C.

Ann was a graduate of Indiana State and earned a Bachelor and Master’s Degree, while there she was granted the Fulbright Scholar and went to the University of Paris, France. There she taught English for one year. Ann also attended University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill working on her Ph.D., while serving as an associate professor. She was fluent in three languages.

She was employed at K & K Insurance, Fort Wayne, IN, where she helped clients across the world. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Fort Wayne, IN. She was a Girl Scout leader for several years and judged spelling bees. Ann was an avid North Carolina and Baltimore Oriole’s fan.

Along with her husband, Daniel, and father, Joseph, she is survived by one daughter, Emily Jane Elizabeth (Joseph) Rickman, Norfolk, VA; three sisters, Paula (David) Funk, Christine (Daniel) Shoemaker, and Laura (Matthew) Hughes, all of Huntington, IN.
