Ann G. Duszak age 70 passed away peacefully August 7, 2012 at her home in Batavia from kidney cancer.

She was born December 7, 1941 in Sycamore, Illinois the daughter of Frank and Olive (Mefferd) Gustafson. Ann grew up a Spartan, graduating from Sycamore High School in 1960. Ann gave lovingly of her time and talents to several worthy activities. In earlier years, she was active in Mothers Club and was a Brownie and Girl Scout leader.

Ann was an avid fan of Chicago Bears football and NASCAR Sprint Cup auto racing. She also enjoyed collecting both Hummel and Willow Tree Angel figurines. But her greatest passion involved the grandchildren’s activities a” particularly their sports. At volleyball, soccer, basketball, baseball and football games, she shared with them and their parents the joy and agony of wins, losses and both good and not-so-good individual performances.

Ann is survived by her husband of 12 years, Dennis; children Lisa (Terry) Moore of Osseo, Wisconsin, Dusty (Sarah) Jackson of Elburn, Illinois and Christopher Duszak of Waukegan, Illinois; grandchildren Alexa and Nick Moore and Mitch and Sam Jackson; brother Leonard (Gus) and his wife Varina (Toots) Gustafson of Sandwich, Illinois; and her pets Roscoe and Tippy of Batavia.
