Ann Elizabeth Robinson Getz entered the church triumphant on Wednesday, January 4, 2012. The oldest daughter of David Wardlaw and Edna Lee Babb Robinson, she was born November 3, 1924, and raised in Troy, SC. After graduating from Erskine College in Due West, SC, with a BA in Home Economics, she married Martin H. Getz of Bethlehem on July 11, 1945. The couple was married for almost 61 years. They resided in various places in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as Martin attended graduate school and seminary. Ann cherished her family of five children and supported Martin as he developed the Bethesda Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia.
