Ann Duncan Wallace Knight, whom everyone affectionately called “Maw Maw”, age 89 of Newnan, passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2011, at her residence. She was born on October 12, 1921, in Cordele, GA to the late Travis George and Exa Lee Treadwell Duncan.
She was the youngest and last living of eight children. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Gwen (Buddy) Couch of Newnan; “adopted daughter”, Shelia Hughie; “adopted son”, Mahlon (Brenda) Duncan; grandchildren, Ken Couch and Kevin (Julie) Couch; “adopted grandchild”, Emily (Ricky) Johnson; great-grandchildren, Amber Couch and Autumn Couch and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
