Ann Catherine (Connors) Gerace, 92, of LaSalle, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2020 at Heritage Healthcare Center in Peru. Mrs. Gerace was born March 10, 1927 in Ottawa to John and Catherine (Stoehr) Connors. She was a 1945 graduate of LaSalle-Peru High School. She married Vincent Gerace on June 28, 1952 at St. Mary’s Church, Utica.Mrs. Gerace was a past member of Queen of the Holy Rosary Church, LaSalle and was currently a member at St. Valentine’s Church, Peru. She had been employed at Westclox in Peru.

Survivors include her son, Paul Gerace of LaSalle; three grandchildren, Matthew Clausen of Eagle Ridge, AK, Margo Clausen of Plymouth, MN and Kollin Gerace of Bloomington; two great-grandchildren, Landon and Jordon Gerace of Bloomington; her sister, Margaret Gerace of Ottawa; two sisters-in-law, Jean Connors of Ottawa and Jeanine Connors of Grand Ridge and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1990; her daughter and son-in-law, Marcia and Robert Clausen of Peoria; her parents and three brothers, William C. Connors of Ottawa, Joseph E. Connors of Grand Ridge and Edward J. Connors in infancy.
