Ann A. Shroyer, 94, of Albion, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2020, at her home at Bear Lake.
Born in Danville, IL, on February 11, 1926, to the late John and Pearl (Sigafoose) Smith. She spent her formative years in Fort Wayne, graduating from Central Catholic High School in 1944.
Ann was married to Ray Shroyer, on June 10, 1961. The couple moved to Bear Lake in 1967. Ray preceded her in death on March 7, 1994.
She was a devoted mother and granny who loved to spend time with her family. She was a member of Big Lake Church of God and attended regularly. She will be missed by her fur baby, Benji.
Ann is survived by two stepdaughters, Arlene Siler and Karen Bishop; six grandchildren, Darla Ternet, Michael Keller, David Keller, Margie Bridegam, Steven Smith and Marc Smith; several step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and spouse, she was preceded by her two daughters, Margaret “Marge” Heckman and Sharon Schaefer; nine brothers, Fred Smith, John Smith, Clarence Smith, Robert Smith, Charles Westfall, John Westfall, Vincent Westfall, Brian Sicafoose and Howard Sicafoose; four sisters, Mary Wise, Marge McCave, Delores Craig and Frances Pinegar.
