Anita Daisy Sulze Hardin, 92, of South Jacksonville, IL died Saturday, February 18, 2012, at Heritage Health in Jacksonville.

She was born January 16, 1920, in St. Louis, MO; the eldest of four children by Eugene and Daisy Marie Horstman Sulze. She married D. L. Hardin on June 10, 1949, in St. Louis, MO and he preceded her in death on August 12, 1979.

She is survived by a son, Steven Hardin (wife, Susan) of Jacksonville; a daughter, Sharon Hardin (husband, Will Willner) of Winston-Salem, NC; three grandsons, James Hardin (wife, Anja) of Phoenix, AZ, and Weston and Talor Willner of Winston-Salem, NC; and a great grandson, Jakob Aidan Kroekel-Hardin of Phoenix, AZ.

Anita was a co-owner of Hardin-Brown Business College and served as one of their teachers. She later served as a secretary to Representatives Jim Reilly and Tom Ryder, an instructor of water exercise classes at the local YMCA, and was a member of Central Christian Church in Jacksonville. She enjoyed music, quilting, traveling and dancing.
