Passed away on Friday morning, September 20, 2019 at her residence, she was 93 years old. A. Ruth LaRose was born March 16, 1926 in Ogdensburg, New York to the late Ralph and Bertha (Richard) LaRose. She attended an all French speaking grade school and graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy High School. A. Ruth met the love of her life, Carl C. Dolloff while working for the United States Government in Washington D.C. during World War II. She married Carl on September 20, 1947 in Ogdensburg, New York. He preceded her in death on December 24, 2011. A. Ruth was a faithful and active member of the Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption, St. Mary’s Leisure Club, Buena Vista PTA, Bonsai Club, Bridge Club, American Business Women’s Association, Saginaw Underwater Explorers, and a Member of the YMCA for many years. A. Ruth was a Fred Astaire competitive dancer for three years and performed in many competitions in Detroit.
She was a fabulous gardener and loved her beautiful Japanese garden. A.
Surviving are a daughter, Linda Dolloff-Busch and many nieces and nephews.
A. Ruth was preceded in death by her son, Robert Dolloff; siblings, Wallace LaRose and Agatha LaRose.
