Anita Ruth Collins, age 79, of Flowery Branch, GA passed away Friday, August 21, 2020.

She was preceded in death by her second husband, John Collins and first husband of thirty-five years, Kenneth Smith.

She is survived by her children, Scott and Cathy Smith, Mt. Pleasant, SC, Steve and Regina Smith, Winter Park, FL, Shari and Bradley Griffin, Flowery Branch, GA, Jonathan and Jamie Smith, Greenwood, SC; ten grandchildren; brother James McKinley, Youngstown, OH; sister, Elaine Landis, Newton Falls, OH; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Collins was born on August 14, 1941 in Mount Vernon, OH.

She was a 1959 graduate of Fredricktown High School and was a “Freddy”cheerleader. She then attended the University of Cincinnati studying pharmacy and was a “Bear Kitten” on their dance team. Mrs. Collins and her husband were Christian Counselors for many years. She loved gardening and was a talented stained glass artist.
