Anita Rippey Clifton, 57, of King, NC passed away peacefully July 11, 2015 in the presence of her family at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice House.
Anita was born February 21, 1958 to Glenn and Louise Rippey. Anita fought a courageous battle with cancer that eventually allowed her to cross into the arms of the Heavenly Father and join her earthly father, Glenn Rippey. Anita was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and in-law to many.
She is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 36 years Greg Clifton; two daughters Nicole (Scott) Spillman and Whitney (finance -Thomas) Clifton; two grandchildren Carter and Callaway Spillman; mother, Louise Rippey; sister Teresa (Greg) Whittington; father/mother in-law Robert and Marlene Clifton; in-laws Robert (Janet) Clifton Jr., Terri Wiles, Shannon (Chandler) Eshleman, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and large extended family.
