Anita Price died of complications of Alzheimers disease on April 18th, 2017. Anita was born September 22, 1938 in London, England to Walter and Florence Ridout. She was the youngest of 4 sisters, Mavis, Daphne, and Norah. She survived German bombings on London during World War II. At 18, she decided to see the world and get the heck out of England so she moved to USA with her first husband, “He who shall not be named”. After 14 years of marriage she sensibily moved on with her life and cultivated a career in cosmetics for Revlon. One lucky day, she went on a blind date and met her “best” husband, aka the world’s most handsome man, Jon S. Price in 1978 in Scottsdale, Arizona. They had a daughter Rebecca and raised Jon’s daughters from his first marriage, Dana and Lisa. After spending a decade as a homemaker and Mom extraordinaire, she became the Director of Sales at Days Inn at the Scottsdale Fashion Square for 20 plus years. Throughout her life, Anita lived in Hawaii, Colorado, South Carolina, Illinois, Georgia, and Arizona. She much preferred the sunny states. She traveled to many beautiful destinations on holidays with her family. She loved reading, painting, making sound budgets, lecturing daughters, cleaning spotless homes, creating order, planning schedules, and organizing family functions. She also begrudging raised many stray animals but loved them dearly in private. Anita is survived by her grateful and obedient daughters, Lisa Souther, Dana Lazenby and Rebecca Kahrhoff, her beautiful grandchildren: Allise Brown, Stephen Goard, Chelsy Tillman, Jordan Ralston, Zachary Ralston, Jonathon Lazenby, and Audrey Kahrhoff and her elder siblings Mavis and Norah. She is predeceased by her hilarious and charismatic husband, Jon S. Price in 2003 and her beautiful blonde sister Daphne.
