Mrs. Charanza died Thursday, April 28, 2011 in a Temple hospital. Mrs. Charanza was born November 5, 1959 in Nuremberg, Germany to Johann F. and Dagmar (Siebenlist) Peither. She immigrated to the United States in 1968 at the age of 9. Through hardships and new beginnings she was able to overcome cultural and language barriers using her perseverance and determination.

Anita received a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Texas, while working full time at Texas Instruments in Temple. After 15 accomplished years with TI, she accepted a position with Dell Computers Corporation in Round Rock, where she spent 10 years as an executive manager.

In 2004, Anita pursued a new opportunity with 3M in Columbia, Missouri, but later returned to Temple to be closer to family. She always set high goals for herself and was never afraid to take on new challenges to further her education and career. While working towards getting a real-estate license, she found a position at the Veterans Administration Hospital. Anita was a diligent, motivated worker and was always an inspiration for others.

Her honest nature was direct and caring, she was loved by many. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her son, Edwin “Trey” Charanza III of Houston, former husband Edwin Charanza II of Temple, 3 brothers, Johann Friedrich Peither of Temple, Mark Elvie Richardson of Conroe and Patrick John Wayne Richardson of Copperas Cove, sister, Heidi Marie Stout of Lockhart
