Anita F. (Mattes) Mennie, 92, of Ottawa, died on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Pleasant View in Ottawa. Anita was born on August 19, 1924 in Ottawa to Edwin and Ada (Warner) Mattes. She worked for Luminous Processes. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Ottawa.
She is survived by a daughter, Denise (Kevin) Hamilton, of Ottawa, 3 granddaughters, Nikole Hamilton, Janelle (Chris) Nordvedt and Kara Hamilton, a great grandson, Griffin Nordvedt and one on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and three sisters, Felicia Salzman, Sylvia Andreatta, and Mary Churchill.
