Anita I. Sportelli, 86, of Bristol, died Sunday, March 2, 2008 at home. Anita was born September 1, 1921, in Bristol, a daughter of the late Anthony and Anna (Carone) Sportelli.
Anita was a graduate of St. Joseph College in West Hartford. She worked as a High School English Teacher in the Bristol Public School System for many years until her retirement. She was a communicant of St.
Anita is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Matthew and Elaine Sportelli of Bristol, a nephew and a niece, Paul Sportelli of Ontario, Canada, and Jane Sportelli-Dillon of Norfolk, MA., and a number of cousins and good friends.
