Anita Herta Dotson, 88, of West Union, WV passed away Monday, January 1, 2018 at Clarksburg Nursing & Rehab. She was born September 30, 1929 in Oberwiesen, Germany; daughter of the late Andreas and Elisabeth Obersheimer.
Anita is survived by her children, Uto A. Dotson and Rutheda of Buckhannon, Stanley J. Dotson and Kelli of West Union, Ronald H. Dotson of Bridgeport, Angela E. Partridge and Gary of Reader, WV; seven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul James Dotson, who preceded her on July 4, 2015; one brother, Johann Obersheimer.
Anita moved from Germany, to the United States, in 1960. She was a member of West Union Christian Church. She enjoyed cooking, telling stories of Germany and loved to be around her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
