Anita Elfriede Grossman (nee Füller) passed away at the age of 82 surrounded by family after a lengthy illness on Monday June 28th, 2022. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother to her family members. Anita was born in Bad Kreuznach, Germany and immigrated to the United States when she married Melvin Stephen Grossman while he was stationed in Germany in 1960. She raised her two children, Marty and Diane often as a single parent while her spouse was deployed around the world. Anita was strong willed and charitable which was benefited many. She had a career as a federal civil servant at Fort Monmouth, NJ. Anita is predeceased by her husband Melvin Grossman and daughter Diane Canterbury (nee Grossman). Surviving immediate family members are her son Martin von Grossmann, daughter-in-law Marlynn von Grossmann, grandsons Jacob and Adam Canterbury, granddaughter Susan von Grossmann, great grandsons Niklas and Stephan von Grossmann, and Melvin Canterbury. Other surviving family members are her brother Wilhelm Füller of Hallgarten, Germany; and sisters Gretel Tucker of Ocala, Florida, and Lisa Fleming of Willingboro, New Jersey.
