Angelo N. Giannopoulos, 85, of New Haven, died peacefully April 18, 2013 in the
Hospital of St. Raphael surrounded by his loving family. He was the
husband of Euthimia Papadopoulos Giannopoulos. Born in Makrisia,
Greece on October 17, 1927 he was the son of the late Nikolaos and
Fotini Proudzopoulos Giannopoulos. He came to the US in 1966 and
worked in the original George and Harry’s Restaurant.
