Angelo Lachina 86, of Orange, beloved husband of Carmela (Cretella) Lachina passed away on January 31st 2011. Angelo was born in Sicily, Italy son of the late Michele Lachina and Giovanna Amorelli. Angelo was predeceased by his brothers Giuseppe, Fillippo and Michele all from Italy. He is survived by his sister Giovanna Lachina and her husband Gino Milia, also from Italy and his brother Salvatore Lachina and his wife Michelina from Brooklyn, NY. He is also survived by sisters in law Rae Errico & Loretta Cretella and several nieces and nephews. Angelo came to America post World War II after serving in the Italian Army. Angelo settled in Orange after marrying Carmela in December 1960. He worked as a laborer for many years at BF Goodrich in the Derby area until his retirement. Angelo was proud of his Italian heritage as well as his American citizenship. Angelo loved his home and took pride in tirelessly landscaping his yard and building his extensive garden.
