Angelo “Shag” Keeton passed away August 13, 2021, in Atlanta, Texas. He was born August 29, 1963, in Yantley, Alabama. He was a graduate of Choctaw County High School and Vocational Mechanic School in Nashville, Tennessee.
He found joy in working on cars and when he wasn’t fixing a vehicle, his favorite pastime was fishing. He had a loving heart and enjoyed being able to help others. He is going to be greatly missed by his family and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
He is survived by his loving mother, Ola Mae Keeton and a devoted father, Green Lee Keeton, Sr.; children, Angelo Ruffin of Lisman, AL; Sherri Ruffin of Lisman, AL; and Angelina DeLoach of Halsell, AL; grandchildren, MaKayla Lawson, Jayden Cunningham, and Chloe DeLoach; brothers, Otis Sr. (Willie Mae) Keeton of York, AL; Benjamin Keeton of Atlanta, GA; Eric Keeton of Yantley, AL; Green Jr. (Cheryl) Keeton of Yantley, AL; Steve (Christina) Keeton of Davison, TN; and Cleo Barbara Koen of Franklin, AL; sisters, Pearlie (James) Ruffin of Riderwood, AL; and Shirley Ruffin of Raeford, N.C.
