Angelo Gianelli, 87, of 162 Elaine Terrace, New Haven passed away Nov. 1, 2010 after a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of Eleanor Sabatino Gianelli. Mr. Gianelli was born in New Haven Nov. 26, 1922, son of the late Andrew and Philomena Della Camera Gianelli. He was a supervisor for Connecticut Hard Rubber for 33 years, retiring in 1985. During World War II, he served with the US Army as a Technical Sergeant in the Asiatic Pacific War Theater. Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Janice A. (Raymond) Juris of West Haven and Cathryn P. Gianelli of East Haven; one grandson, Stephen Juris of Michigan; and three great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Lisa Lynn and a brother, Alexander Gianelli.
