Mrs. Angeline M. (Burkiewicz) Ajster, 85, of Peru, passed away July 25, 2010, at Mendota Community Hospital.
Mrs. Ajster was born on June 14, 1925 in Peru to John and Mary (Jakubiak) Burkiewicz. She married Henry F. Ajster on July 3, 1948 at St. Valentines Church in Peru. She worked at Icore, Westclox, and the News Tribune for many years. She was a member of St. Valentines Church, Peru Eagles, the Ladies Home Extension Club, and the Catholic Order of Forresters-KSKJ She is survived by two daughters; Denise (Daniel) Pittman of LaSalle and Karen (Lloyd) Koplin of Peru; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; one sister, Florence Shreve of OFallon, MO.
She was preceded in death by her husband Henry; her parents, and two brothers. Pallbearers will be Danny Pittman, Brian Koplin, Tom Kummerow, Adam Mize, Robert Ajster, and Steve Pothoff.
