Angelina “Angie” Anita Manley Gardner, 39, of Ogden, passed away on December 31st, of Covid-19.

Angie was born in Ogden, Utah on October 14th, 1982. She graduated from Elk Grove Senior High in 2001 as an honors student.

Angie was married to Joseph Gardner on December 19th of 2012; they were married for 5 years.

Angie worked as a produce manager for Smith’s for 14 years. She had a laugh that lit up any room she was in. Angie was a huge Patriots fan and an even bigger Tom Brady fan. She had such a carefree and breezy demeanor. She was unshakeable and ready for anything. She was a consummate voice of reason for us all and possessed an amazing ability to evaporate the gravity or seriousness from any situation. We all relied on Angie for comfort, straightforwardness, and compassion. We all have that person we hope is in the room when we can’t do it on our own; Angie was that person for so many. We are all devastated by the loss of someone so young and so universally loved. The sun has set, but she will always warm our souls.

Angie is survived by her mother, Beranice Manley; and her siblings, Phillip Smith, Amanda Day, Tracey Hughes, Nina Manley, Paul Manley, Wahkeena Montes, Robert Taylor, Isaac Klick, Isaiah Cowlishaw, and Roseanna Cowlishaw; as well as many other family and friends. She leaves behind her beloved cat companion, Diesel.

Angie is preceded in death by Harvey Manley.
