Angela Richards, 73, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank, New Jersey. She was born Angelina LaBruno on April 16, 1947 in Jersey City, New Jersey, where she grew up and met her beloved husband, Kevin. On September 14, 1968, Angela and Kevin were married and began their life together in Jersey City. In 1974/1975, they settled in Hazlet, New Jersey to raise their family.
Angela was an extremely loving woman and was always taking care of everyone that she knew and loved. To her family, she was their “Wonder Woman”.
She was predeceased by her parents, Michael and Angelina (Fazzaro) LaBruno, her siblings, Victor, Linda, Maxie, and Nicky, her brother-in-law, Mickey Skop, her sister-in-law, Cathy LaBruno. Angela is survived by her beloved and devoted husband of 52 years, Kevin J. Richards, her loving children, Michael Richards and his wife, Donna, of Hazlet, Kevin J. Richards Jr. and his wife, Alisa, of Union Beach, Victor Richards of Hazlet, and Danielle Pollard and her husband, James, of Hazlet, her dear siblings, Marie Skop, Anna Marandola and her husband, John, and Peter LaBruno and his wife, Kathy, and her sister-in-law, Cathy Ann LaBruno. Angela is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Alyssa, Michael Jr., Alexis, Victoria, Kevin III, Joseph, Graigory, Lyndsey, Ariana, and Jamie, and her adored great grandson, Jaxson, along with her great grandson who will be arriving any day now, Jameson, and many treasured nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
