ANGELA BUCCO MIZELL died Sunday, July 19, 2009 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. She was 87.
Born in Matawan, she was a lifelong Keyport/Union Beach resident.
She was an administrative assistant at Fort Monmouth for several years, and then worked as the secretary to the Superintendant at Memorial School in Union Beach for 9 years. She then returned to Fort Monmouth, where she worked for 25 years before her retirement several years ago.
She was a member of the Bayshore Hospital Ladies Auxiliary, and had worked at their thrift shop. She was also a member of the Keyport Senior Center, and was a big Yankee fan. She also sang at many local family functions.
She was a communicant of Jesus the Lord RC Church, Keyport.
She was predeceased by her parents, Rocco Bucco and Victoria Vecchio Bucco, and by her husband, James Mizell.
Surviving are two sons, James R. Jr. and his wife Carol of Keyport, and John M and his wife Kathy of Houston, TX; a sister, Ann Caden of Roanoke, TX; a brother, Anthony Bucco of Highlands; and two granddaughters, Cloie and Olivia.
