Angela Marie Karst, age 64 of Stromsburg, Nebraska, passed away September 29, 2022 at the Midwest Covenant Home in Stromsburg.
Angela was born October 22, 1957 in Pontiac, Michigan to David and Aquilla Louise (Walton) Karst. She attended Buckley Community School in Michigan, graduating in 1975. Following high school she joined the United States Navy on March 12, 1976 and was honorably discharged on June 8, 1979. Angela had 2 children and lived in the northern part of lower Michigan where she worked in a factory for a number of years. She enrolled in a truck driving school and became an over the road trucker for 17 years from 1998 until 2015. She then moved to Lincoln and later to Stromsburg. Due to her health, she moved to the Midwest Covenant Home on December 4, 2021 where she resided until her passing.
Survivors include one son Walter (Gloria) Emre II; one daughter Heidi Lynn Hart (fiance Ashley C. Watts) of Stromsburg; two grandchildren and five step-grandchildren; two brothers Dave (Sue) Karst and Robert (Jennifer) Walton; three sisters Theresa (Mitchell) Brown, Diana (John) Haggerthy and Kathryn (Dave) Clem; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother Aquilla Walton.
