Angela Marie Ferrell (LeClaire), age 52, of Peoria, AZ passed away suddenly at her residence on November 29, 2022. Angela was born on October 2, 1970, in Iron Mountain, MI, to Gary and Patricia LeClaire. She was the youngest of two children and graduated from Kingsford, MI High School in 1989. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Justice Studies from Northern Michigan University in December 1993. Angela married her husband Patrick Wayne Ferrell in Kingsford, MI on September 9, 1995. Angela and Patrick were parents to many furry puppies including Champaign, Bailey, Daisy, Dublin, and presently Luna and Mitzi, who were acquired from various rescues.
Angela currently worked as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant at Wee Care Corporation for the past 5 years. She previously worked as a teacher in both the elementary and high school settings.
She was actively involved with Arizona Beagle Rescue, feeding the homeless, several Women’s Bible Studies and teaching Sunday School.
Angela’s hobbies included crafting, traveling, hiking with her husband and dogs, spending time with her fur babies and immersing herself in Bible Studies and daily devotionals. Angela was an avid hockey fan and former season ticket holder with the Arizona Coyotes. She and her husband were currently attending Faith Bible Church in Glendale, AZ.
Angela was preceded in death by her mother Patricia Mae LeClaire (Farley) and her father Gary Wayne LeClaire, as well as her grandparents and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She is survived by her husband Patrick Ferrell of Peoria, AZ, her brother David Edward LeClaire and wife Cheryl (Langston) of Royse City, TX, nephew Alexander David LeClaire, wife Jennifer LeClaire and great nephew Shawn Alexander and great niece Aubrey Evelyn of Royse City, TX and niece Caitlyn Marie LeClaire and great niece Emersyn Lu of Hagerstown, MD. Brother-in-law David (Emily) Ferrell and 3 nephews, Andrew, Zachary and Jacob of Peoria, IL. Father-in-law Wayne M. Ferrell (Alyse) of Peoria, IL and Mother-in-law Mary Kay and Stepdad John C Thurston of Carefree, AZ, as well as Aunt Cheryl Fredrickson, DePere, WI, Aunt Katherine LeClaire, Kingsford, MI, Uncle Patrick Farley, West Bend, WI, and Uncle Jerry Farley, Iron Mountain, MI.
