Angela Maria D’arduini Faustini, but everyone knew her as “Nina”, age 96, of Milford, CT, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 24, 2015. Nina was born in Ripi, Italy, province of Frosinone on October 21, 1918. Nina was the fourth child out of six and daughter of the late Francesco D’arduini and Angela Fratarcangeli D’arduini of Ripi, Italy. Along with her late husband Sante and family, Nina owned Sante’s Restaurant in Milford, Connecticut. Nina also enjoyed working at Schick for a short time. In her later years she took great pride in working with her daughter, Cristina and her family at Sante’s Manor.
Nina is survived by her daughter Angela Cristina Trovini, her granddaughter Maria-Teresa Trovini Gagliardi and her husband James of Woodbridge, grandson Elvio Trovini and his wife Romina of Stamford, three great grandchildren Jaime, Lorraine and Andrew Gagliardi, daughter-in-law Margaret Faustini, and she is also survived by Robert Faustini, Domenic Faustini, Adelina Allen, Sante Faustini, Memi Csontos, Diana Ukehaxhaj who she considered her grandchildren and several more great
grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband of 63 years, Sante Faustini, five siblings; Michelina, Gustina, Sandina, Querino and Marietta, Dario Faustini and his son Raymond and Albert Faustini, two sons she raised as her own, son- in- law Rolando Trovini and daughter-in-law Fernanda Salati Faustini.
