Angela Daley passed to her journey home on Wednesday, March 20, 2019. She was an active citizen in Cocoa Beach where she spent her retired years.
She was born in the small town Mechanicville, N.Y. located in the foothills of the Adirondacks. Her parents were Fred and Jane De Casperis. She married her High School boyfriend Bernard Daley during World War II where he served as a Lieutenant in the Air force as a Bombardier.
They relocated to Florida in 1959 with their four children and resided in Miami Shores for 43 years where they operated a successful combination Accounting and Real Estate Business. There she served on numerous committees for the Board of Realtors and received the Realtor of the Year Award for the Miami Board of Realtors in 1977. She also was active in many Miami Shores municipal boards including the Miami Shores Country Club where she became an honorary life time member. She also received an Academic Degree from Barry University.
After the death of her husband and the tragic death of her beautiful daughter Maureen Theodore, she sold her office building to the City of North Miami in 2002 and retired to Cocoa Beach and spend more time with family. Surviving children are three sons, Bernard Daley, Attorney in Tallahassee and wife Betsy, David Daley of Cocoa Beach, and William Daley of Miami Shores, Florida. Four grandchildren are Jessica Marra, Attorney in Ft Lauderdale, Fl. Husband Marc Marra Attorney in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. and great granddaughter Charlotte. Christopher also in Miami. Jonathan, Anna Clayton and husband Cameron with four great grandchildren, Callianna, Jessee, Cloe and John all in Tallahassee, Florida.
Other survivors are a sister Partricia Geehr and husband Jack, brother Frederick DeCasperis and wife Sharon. Predeceased siblings are brother Anthony DeCasperis, sisters Gloria LaFrance, Mary Louise Shannon and several nieces and nephews.
