Lupe Angela Chavez, 77, beloved mother, mother-in-law, daughter, and grandmother, was called to her eternal resting place on Tuesday, April 4, 2023. She entered this world on December 29, 1945, in Ely, Nevada, born to Juan and Daisy Chavez. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Natalie Pacifico; mother, Daisy Chavez; and father, Juan Chavez. She is survived by her son, Alfonso Montoya; daughter-in-law, Denise Montoya; grandson, Michael Pacifico; sister, Vivian Tafoya; brother, David Chavez; and many nieces and nephews.
Angie will be remembered most for her love of life, kindness, generosity, and for her strength and perseverance. One of the mantras that she lived by was “One day at a time.” She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
