Andy “Cleo” Rhoads, of Ash Flat, son of the late Lonnie Rhoads and Willie Hall Rhoads was born March 23, 1932 in Glencoe, Arkansas. He died June 29, 2016 at his home in Ash Flat at the age of 84 years 3 months and 6 days.
He was united in marriage to Eulene Herron who preceded him in death. He was a sawmill worker for most of his working life. He attended services at the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his son, Steve Rhoads and wife Susan of Ash Flat; granddaughter, Mindy Cowell and husband Brad of Escatawpa, Mississippi; a brother, Troy Rhoads of North Little Rock, Arkansas and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eulene, five brothers: Roy Rhoads, Ray Rhoads, Amos Leo Rhoads “his twin”, Bob Rhoads, Roby Rhoads; four sisters: Mable Rhoads Bassham Crow, Opal Rhoads Goodwin, Betty Rhoads Tharp, and Thelma Rhoads Goodson: and his father and mother: Lonnie and Willie Hall Rhoads.
