Andrew W Huffman, 80, of Anderson, passed away on August 10, 2012 at the St. John’s Health System Anderson, Indiana.
He was born on September 1, 1931 in Lapel, and resided most of his life in the Anderson area. He retired from General Motors in 1987. Andrew was a Past member of the National Muzzleloaders Association. He attended New Covenant Ministry in Anderson. He previously pastored several area churches including Maple Grove Church in rural Hancock County. He was avid outdoorsman and woodworker, he enjoyed building muzzleloader rifles.
Andrew is survived by his loving spouse whom he married September 24, 1981, Mary Lou Wilkins Koger Huffman of Anderson, daughter, Deborah Lynn James E. Rushton of Bedford, daughter, Rebecca Lee Steve Delph of Greensburg, Step-Sons, Ken Dawn Koger of Naperville, IL, and Dan Koger, of Anderson, brother, Bryant Joan Huffman of Anderson, brother, Jack Inga Huffman of Germany, brother, Charlie Huffman of Madison, sister, Anna Haygood of Pendleton, granddaughter, Michelle Delph, granddaughter, Danita Jones, grandson, Jay Rushton, grandson, Shane Delph, granddaughter, Angela Delph, step-grandchildren, Deek Koger, and Lucy Koger. Also surviving are several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Katherine Huffman, father, Glen O. Huffman, first wife, Rosemary Huffman, sisters, Viola M. Duncan, Bertha H. Wilkerson, Emma Carrol, brothers, Ernest W. Huffman, JC Huffman, and Edward G. Huffman.
