Age 89, of Hammond, IN passed away Monday, February 20, 2017.
He is survived by his three loving children Terry (Bill) Hashu, William (Kathy) Kaytar, and Andrea (Terry) Trtan; 5 grandchildren, Andy (Lisa) Hashu, Joe (Leslie) Trtan, Mike Trtan, Pete Johnson, Suzie (Kevin) Blissmer, 4 great-grandchildren, Melynda, Hailey Hashu, Chase Kinley, Elena Blissmer.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Rose (nee Spear); mother, Ann Kajtar; brother, John Speajar.
Andrew retired from LTV Steel with 44 years of service as an Electrical Foreman. His hobbies included flying, golfing, and model building. He soloed in a Piper Tomahawk before a heart attack which stopped him from attaining his pilot’s license.
