Andrew Jackson Lee, 82, died at his home in Leroy, AL, on September 8, 2016. He was surrounded by his family. He was a native of Alabama. “Jack” was a member of Leroy Baptist Church. He and his late wife, Dot Counselman Lee, were married 56 years. “Jack” was a business owner of Lee Quality Homes and Jack Lee Mobile Homes. His hobby was working. “Jack” played baseball for the St. Louis Cardinals from 1950 – 1955, being named MVP for 1955. He was a left handed player and his position was centerfield. “Jack” was the team’s “clean-up batter.”
