Andrew Harold Owen, 73, of Cassopolis, died peacefully early Saturday morning, August 9, 2014, in Hanson Hospice Center, Stevensville.
Andrew was born on April 20, 1941 in Cass County, Michigan to Frank and Pauline (Shriver) Owen.He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, David Owen.Andy was an incredibly kind and generous man. He enjoyed fishing and cross word puzzles.
He was an avid reader and had lately taken to reading the Bible cover to cover.
Family and friends will greatly miss Andrew. He is survived by two sisters, Lillian Owen of Union, Betty (George) Hall of Dowagiac; one brother, Wayne (Barbara) Owen of Cassopolis; three nieces, Judi (Tony Poarch) Owen of Dowagiac, Diann (Michael Bailey) Owen of Elkhart, Mary Jane (Duane) McPhail of Dowagiac; eight nephews, Jimmy Owen of Edwardsburg, Jon Owen of Galien, Steven Owen of Edwardsburg, Christopher (Jennifer) Owen of Dowagiac, Kenneth (Sharon) Fobes of Dowagiac, Anthony (Carolyn) Fobes of Dowagiac, Craig Owen of Union, David Owen of Kansas; a host of great nieces and great nephews and one great great niece and one on the way.
