Andrew H. Ragazincky, 91, of LaSalle, passed away Monday, February 23, 2021 at St. Margaret’s Health, Peru. Mr. Ragazincky was born May 22, 1929 in Spring Valley to Andrew and Mary (Schmitz) Ragazincky. He graduated from Hall High School and worked at Uniman, Troy Grove in the sand pit.
He served in the United States Army from 1951-1953. He married Matilda “Tillie” Brady on February 15, 1958 at St. Joseph’s Church, LaSalle. She passed away October 8, 2014. He was a member of St. Valentine’s Church, Peru and a lifetime member of the LaSalle VFW and the Oglesby American Legion.
He is survived by a daughter, Robin Witalka of Peru; two sons, Peter (Polly) Ragazincky of LaSalle and Mark Ragazincky of LaSalle; two grandchildren, Sarah (Adam) Sadnick and Dylan Ragazincky and two great-grandchildren, Ariella Ragazincky and Knox Sadnick.He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a son, Andrew Ragazincky and a brother, Joseph Ragazincky.
