Andy was proud to have served in the Army during the Korean War.  He played softball until the age of 74, as short-stop for many teams over the years. He remained active in sports attending many baseball, football, and swimming events for his grandchildren. He often volunteered during their sporting events, which led to everyone knowing and loving him.

He loved children and carried lollypops around to give to kids he came across in his travels. He loved animals and would always have dog treats available, for the neighborhood dogs. One of his favorite past times was singing, he sang to anyone that would listen. He loved to dance and for his age, he still had the moves and would put the “young ones” to shame. For so many reasons, he will be missed by anyone that knew him.
