Marion: Andrew F. “Frank” Farmer, 66, passed away at 5:50 am Sunday, July 24, 2011, at the VA Hospital in Marion. He was born in Grant County, the son of the late Andrew and Opal (Rudey) Farmer. Mr. Farmer attended Marion High School.
He served in the Army in the Korean conflict and the Vietnam War. He worked as a Press Operator at Hartford City Products for 30 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 10, Marion. Survivors include his wife, Evon; a brother, Jimmy Farmer, Marion; a sister, Wanda (DeVoe) Caudill, both of Marion; a cousin, Ada Mae Speece, Marion; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Benney, Carl, and Richard Lee Farmer.
