Details: Andrew Edward Bradley, Sr., 1917- 2009, completed his almost ninety-two year life journey on October 22, 2009. He has been the loving husband of the vivacious Marie Hanzook Bradley for over 60 years, and father of Colleen Genevieve Weidman and Andrew Edward Bradley, Jr., of Maryland and Sarah Ann Bradley Hay of California. An extremely proud grandfather, his six grandchildren hold many years of fond memories of their Pop Pop – Liese Marie Weidman Williams; Brianna Karene Weidman Stallings; Joseph George Weidman, II; Andrew Edward Bradley, III; Scott Cormany Hay; and Christopher Bradley Hay. Always one to stop and say hello to the little ones, his two great granddaughters brought many joyful hours to his later years – Hannah and Hailee Stallings. Andy was very proud of his Irish Catholic heritage; he was the son of Joseph Bradley and Margaret. He was born shortly after his parents arrived by ship from Ireland. He had three sisters and three brothers, all of whom have preceded him in passing. His early years were spent in Dubuque, Iowa, growing up mostly in Blue Anchor, New Jersey, then Baltimore, Maryland. He loved Notre Dame, the Orioles, the Baltimore Colts and Ravens, VFW, Wheel of Fortune, McDonalds, bowling and his newspaper. A handsome two-fisted Irishman, all were amazed at his full head of hair, beautiful brown eyes and engaging smile even up to his last days. He loved the color green and often marched in the St. Patrick’s Day parade in Baltimore with the St. John’s Old Timers Club.
