Andrew David Shields, 63, of Greenwood, Indiana, passed away on Monday, January 4th, 2021 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Andrew was born on August 22nd, 1957 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Sarah (Allee) Faulst and the late George Shields.
Andrew worked as an auto parts specialist and had a wealth of knowledge about car parts and auto repair. He was a skilled musician and enjoyed playing jazz music and ‘50s through the ’90s rock ‘n’ roll songs with his band. Andrew had a passion for music and a talent for playing the guitar. He was a huge sports fan and loved to root for his favorite basketball team, the Indiana Pacers, and football team, the Indianapolis Colts.
Andrew is survived by his two daughters, Alysia (Aaron) Ray of Whiteland, Indiana and Jessica Shields of Staunton, Indiana; his eight grandchildren, Abbiegayle Chase, Tony Chase, Micah Ray, Elijah Ray, Faith Ray, Jocelyn Ray, Jonathan Smith Jr., Emmaliegh Smith; his mother, Sarah; his two brothers, Bobby (Melanie) Grim Jr. and George Shields Jr., both of Indiana.
Andrew was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Shields, and his father, George.
